Setshot has partnered with Semba on the release of a new music video for his song "Always Something." It is the first in a series of three videos produced by Setshot in collaboration with Semba for his upcoming album, Open Book, to be released later this month.
Directed by Callum Haslam, the "Always Something" music video takes viewers on a journey through the repetition of daily life and the desire for something greater. Semba’s character is stuck in a loop of a monotonous morning routine that keeps him from where he wants to be. He eventually uncovers his escape yet it appears to not be as simple as thought. "Always Something" explores themes of resilience, ambition, and the challenges faced on the path to accomplishment. It marks the second collaboration for Haslam and Semba who previously worked on the music video for Semba’s “OMW” in 2022.
The release of "Always Something" marks another milestone in Semba's burgeoning career. The song is characterised by its infectious rhythm and Semba's distinct performance style. The music video's launch is expected to further propel Semba into the spotlight, solidifying his position as a rising prospect in the Australian hip hop scene.
The “Always Something" music video can be viewed on Semba's official YouTube channel. It will be available for streaming on music platforms when Open Book is released. Be on the look out for the second music video in the series which is set to premiere next week.
